Ultra-compact power conversion blocks

Built for mobility, defense and data centers
WATTS COOLER.

Power stacks, reimagined
Marel optimizes the power-conversion layer between semiconductor die suppliers and system providers. We integrate semiconductor packaging and cooling directly into the power stack, helping system builders cut size, weight, cost, and complexity.
Marel builds ultra-compact power-conversion building blocks — power modules and power stacks — that sit at the heart of high-power converters, inverters, breakers and other systems for mobility, defense, data centers, and beyond. Our architecture rethinks how electrical and thermal paths work together, allowing semiconductors to do more with less. The result is a platform that cuts size and weight by 50% and semiconductor count by a third, while staying flexible across applications and semiconductor suppliers.
Compatible with silicon and silicon carbide today, with gallium nitride next. Available as product or through IP licensing. Launching at 1.2kV today, with 3.3kV within the next year.

Defense
Marel power stacks are built for harsh, high-demand defense environments across ground vehicles, aircraft, naval platforms, and deployable field power systems. Their high-temperature capability and much higher power density help reduce size, wiring, armor, weight, and overall system burden while supporting the high current needed for electrified subsystems, high-torque platforms, and rapid modular power deployment.
Data Centers
Marel power stacks address a key emerging challenge in data centers: compact, efficient power conversion around an 800V DC bus architecture. As rack power rises, systems need efficient conversion from medium-voltage utility feeds to 800V DC, and then from 800V DC to lower-voltage rails. Marel’s compact, modular approach is a strong fit where density, thermal performance, and scalability matter most.
Mobility
Marel power stacks help mobility system builders build smaller, lighter, lower-cost, less complex converters and inverters. That matters across EV propulsion, charging, commercial vehicles, and other electrified platforms where space is tight, efficiency is critical, and cost pressure is constant. Marel’s modular approach also supports reuse across multiple vehicle classes and power levels.
